Supt Wilfred Kgasago, spokesperson for the EMPD, says they cornered the suspects and the stolen vehicle at the intersection of Commissioner and Du Preez streets.
“They pursued the stolen vehicle along Commissioner Street; the suspects stood no chance as the EMPD Intervention Unit vehicles closed in on them.
“Officers managed to arrest the two suspects and the stolen vehicle was confiscated,” says Kgasago.
He says that the vehicle was booked in at SAPS Van Ryan Deep pound.
The men, both aged 21, were booked at Reiger Park Police Station for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
They are expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon. – @CarmenBoksburg

Well done to the police! I wish I could be as lucky! My car was stolen last sunday 06.07.2014 outside the Absa bank ATM cor Cason and Trichard sts, at around 2pm in broad daylight – amongst many cars parked there! What gets me is how did no one see? Only after it was gone did they tell me?
