“We hope that all Boksburg residents will now not have any doubt that Dan is legit. He is very special, because he raises much-needed funds for our society on a monthly basis that add up to plus-minus R100 000 per year,” says the Boksburg SPCA chairperson, Alta Gobey.

She also encourages members of the community to reach for their purse when they see Dan and “Spotty” at the robots, especially on the corner of North Rand and Rondebult roads.

The Boksburg SPCA’s next street collection will be at the above-mentioned location on Saturday, June 28.
