SA fails miserably in maths, science education – WEF

According to the World Economic Forum’s (WEF’s) Global Information Technology 2014 Report, South Africa scores an exhausted last spot in the race when it comes to maths and science education.

The report provides an assessment of network readiness based on how prepared a country’s economy is to apply the benefits of information and communications technology to be able to promote economic-growth and well-being, including productivity and the number of quality jobs.

SA scored a dismall 146 out of 148 countries when it comes to our education system and dead last when it comes to maths and science education.

According to the report, countries such as Angola, Mozambique and Gabon claims victory above our education system.
