  1. Well interesting to say that the whole of impala and witkoppie ridge has yet again gone out about 30 mins ago… Every time it is a inconvenience as we have to arrange a gennerator and not even talking about the feul we have to buy all the costs involved, why not place a public advert in newspaper and give an estimate of 2 weeks or what ever time needed to repair these cables and say that power might be on or off in that time frame atleast we will be prepared and the problem can get fixed , this is really not funny anymore

  2. I don’t want to have to attend a meeting to ensure that I will have power at my house. The cables are broken, fix them! Can I randomly decide not to pay my electricity bill because my budget broke down? Can I tell them to just deal with it?

Mr du Plessis can go play in the middle of the road, it’s easy to try and placate people when you’re not affected. Don’t talk. Fix the problem and do it quickly!

As a resident, I am sick of this “we don’t care” attitude the municipality has. I am sick of excuses and sick of needing to just accept that they are “trying”.

If I deliver this kind of service at my job, I would be fired.

  3. This is really unfair to the community, without notice it is the 3rd time! We have small kids and to add to that crime is high and darkness a very inviting situation for criminals. its unsafe and really uncomfortable and unfair. Please provide us with notices and acceptable timeframes. It is really anoying that there is no warning to the community and the cables has got timers on because the previous 2 times it went of exactly the same time????

  4. Its after 18:30 on 23 April… Power went out again!!! This is starting to go way beyond unfair now, while people sit and discuss what to do about power we are STILL without power, are we going back to the stoneage or what…

  5. I thought I was the only one, sorry yes see what. happens when there’s no competency in SA anymore. sigh!!!

  6. Power is out yet again in Impala Park, 3rd night in a row! This is unacceptable. The power goes out @ 17:30 and comes back on @ 23:00 if we are lucky.
    Something needs to be done!
