According to Lieut Juanita Coetzer, communications officer for the Boksburg North SAPS, the Boksburg North station commander Col Sam Makama, Lieut-Col Albert Chauke, Lieut-Col Julius Masiye and members of the Tsakane SAPS patrollers performed organised patrols in the areas.
“They patrolled, on foot, through the suburbs and were under the command of Col Makama and his team,” says Lieut Coetzer.
She adds that they were making a difference during the times they patrolled.
“These members are our eyes and ears in the community and contribute in fighting against crime together.”
