Long-term frail care now available at St Francis
The St Francis Care Centre have extended their services to long-term frail care.
Two-bedded wards with an en-suite bathroom will be hired out for patients in need of frail care.
However, centre manager Tilly Brouwer says, they are open to negotiation if patients prefer having their own room or using their own bed.
According to Brouwer, there is an extensive need for frail care and the available frail care is unbelievably expensive.
“People phone on a regular basis asking if we offer frail care,” she said.
The centre has set aside a certain number of wards for patients.
The service will include 24-hour care under medical supervision, as well as all meals.
Wards are available immediately.
