
* Sibusiso Radebe (23), from the Angelo informal settlement, appeared in court on a charge of trespassing and theft.
He pleaded not-guilty on two charges, was found guilty on one charge, and sentenced on March 28, to nine months imprisonment suspended for five years.
On December 28, 2013, the accused trespassed onto a property in Morganridge, without the permission of the owner, and stole a step ladder to the value of R1 500.
He was convicted on the charge of theft.
Magistrate Ryan van Harte presided over the matter, and Busi Mofokeng appeared on behalf of the State.
* Tebogo Mojoki (18), from Katlehong, appeared in court on a charge of theft.
He pleaded not-guilty, and was found guilty, on February 20, and sentenced on March 31 to three years imprisonment.
On November 26 the accused stole a T-shirt, to the value of R89.99, from Mr Price.
He had previous convictions of theft from March, 2013, and paid an admission of guilt fee in 2012.
The accused was also found guilty of contempt of court for not appearing at his December 11 court date, and was sentenced to R300 or 30 days imprisonment.

* Mishack Khanye (29), from Vosloorus, appeared in court on a charge of house break-in with the intent to steal.
He pleaded guilty, and was found guilty on February 26, and sentenced on March 31, to three years imprisonment.
On February 2, the accused broke into the home of Sophie Khanye and stole an amplifier, DVD player, R350 cash and two pairs of tekkies, to the value of R2 900.
He was also found unfit to possess a firearm.

* Percy Masondo (23), from Vosloorus, appeared in court on a charge of malicious injury to property.
He pleaded guilty, was found guilty, and sentenced on March 31. The magistrate postponed the passing of the sentence for five years.
On December 31, the accused damaged the roof of Maria Maseko.

* Pill Kunene (26) appeared in court on a charge of assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
She pleaded guilty, was found guilty, and sentenced on March 31. The magistrate postponed the passing of sentence for five years.
On September 9, the accused assaulted Mpho Mofamere by stabbing him with a knife.

* Juliet Mugwagwa (44), from Ravenswood, appeared in court on a charge of theft.
She pleaded guilty, was found guilty, and sentenced on March 31, to R7 200 or three years imprisonment of which R3 600 or 18 months imprisonment was suspended for five years.
On November 12, 2012, the accused stole four Eagle Mag rims from Kenneth Martin, in Jet Park.
She was found unfit to possess a firearm.
Magistrate Abel Shilubane presided over the matter, and Johannes Malebatja appeared on behalf of the State.
* Previn Ellis (29), from Reiger Park, and Jerome Adolph (31) appeared in court on a charge of robbery.
They pleaded guilty, and were found guilty on March 19, and sentenced on March 31. Ellis was sentenced to four years imprisonment and Adolph to six years imprisonment.
On January 16, the men assaulted Mziwoxolo Khesa and, with force, took a wallet containing R400.
Adolph had a previous conviction of robbery from April, 2004.
