
The Advertiser previously reported that Parkdene Ratepayers Association had been waiting for a while now to obtain a lease from the metro for the Parkdene Sport and Recreation Club.
According to Themba Gadebe, spokesperson for the metro, the latest development in this matter is that the metro’s Real Estate Department has been tasked to take over this function and will conduct its own investigation.
“All affected stakeholders and clubs, including new applicants, will be notified in due course,” he says.
