Shooting victim in induced coma

Robin Williams, who was shot in his head on March 20, has undergone surgery and been placed in an induced coma.

Williams, the manager of the Spar in the Palm Centre, was shot during an attempted armed robbery.

DA ward 92 councillor Graham Gersbach has condemned the senseless shooting of the manager.

Gersbach says he understands that the robbers demanded money, which Williams did not have, before they shot him in the head and left without taking anything.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the friends, family and staff Williams managed and I sincerely hope that doctors are able to save him,” he says.
