Suspects found with plastic bag full of copper cables

A suspicious male was caught with a plastic bag containing chopped pieces of high voltage copper cable, on Friday, February 21.

The man was allegedly seen wandering on the corner of Waterson and White streets in Parkdene, by two CPF members.

The CPF members watched the man from two separate vehicles.

The next moment, the man was allegedly picked up by a car, a bit further from where he was originally seen loitering, and taken back to the corner of Waterson and White streets, where he was seen picking up a plastic bag.

CPF members suspected something wrong, and blocked off the vehicle with their cars.

The SAPS were called and the suspects were taken away to the police station.
