It is time to make a stand

'We The People, We the Citizens' writes:

When do we as people as citizens draw the line, when do we say enough is enough.

I say now while election fever is building and politicians are canoodling up to us for our vote.

Let’s remind ourselves that it is we the people, we the citizens, who give politicians the power; we vote them in, and they become elected officials and as elected officials they become public servants, paid by us.

Public servants are there to serve us. We as the citizens need to be a watchdog body that will monitor elected officials, public servants, government and local government employees.

We surely can no longer allow these public servants to act and perform the way they have done. We don’t believe their promises and lies any longer, what we need is to ensure that elected officials and public servants serve us and not themselves.

Individually it is very difficult to make a difference, but collectively without a politically-driven agenda, we can, and will, make a meaningful difference.

Let’s not let another year go by where we don’t have a watchdog body in place that will keep elected officials honest and doing what they are supposed to do.

Again, we the people, give the power to the politicians; without us they have no power.

If they cannot manage the country in a way that we expect them to, they should not be in the position to do so.

Calling everyone who wants to see this beautiful country prosper once again, whoever you are, whoever you vote for or don’t vote, whatever party you vote for, whatever belief you have, join forces with us the people to ensure that those who are elected, govern as they should.
