According to Lieut Juanita Coetzer, communications officer for the Boksburg North SAPS, the men broke through the roof of a business at the corner of 14th Avenue and All Black Road, Anderbolt.
“The alarm went off at AAA Security, and two of their guards attended to the scene. They saw the men on the roof and fired several shots,” she says.
Const Clement Komane and Const David Makung climbed through the roof and apprehended the men.
“One of the suspects was found in the bathroom with a knife, and the second suspect, who was wounded, was found hiding under a pool table.”
The men were arrested and the wounded suspect was taken to hospital and the other to the police station.
