A Boksburg resident known to the Advertiser, raised concerns regarding the damage caused by the storm, resulting in a huge hole in the roof of the Boksburg stadium, which she complained was affecting activities at the stadium.
Municipality says the matter is being attended to.
“The insurance has approved the repairs and the contractor will be on site this during January,” says metro spokesperson Mandlakazi Mpahlwa-Sigcawu.
Mpahlwa-Sigcawu says the club chairman has already been informed about this matter.
