A concert for house fire victims

A benefit concert will be held on Saturday, December 7, for the family that was left homeless when their house burnt down in Atlasville, on November 2.

Atlasville Organisation, a community-based organisation, in conjunction with Hunter, a local musician, have arranged this family event.

The organisation says Hunter will hold a concert, promising a great afternoon of entertainment.

Concert-goers are requested to bring along picnic baskets and their own seating and should note that no alcoholic beverages may be consumed on site as this would be in contravention of by-laws.

The event will take place at the Municipal Park, corner of Nightingale and Dodo streets, Atlasville, from 2pm to 4pm.

Musician Hunter’s CD’s will be sold for R120, and a portion of the sale proceeds will be donated to the family.

Any changes to the event, due to unforeseen weather interruptions, will be communicated via the organisations website.

The website address is www.atlasville.org.za

For any further enquiries regarding the event and costs per entry, you may contact Liezel Pienaar on 084 777 5557.
