Dancer performs well
Kaamilah Carrim from the Nikki Truter Dance Inspiration Dance Studio, in Boksburg, has done brilliantly this year.
At the South African Freestyle Championships held in Bloemfontein between November 15 to 16, she reached the semi-finals in her category (u-11).
She, however, won the disco section in her age group.
Carrim won gold in the u-11 Rising Star section at the Gauteng Provincial Dance Championships, held in Alberton, on October 5.
At the Dance Spectrum held in Alberton from October 25 to 27, she came first in slow dance.
The 10-year-old Arbor Primary School student lives in Benoni.
