Give to the physically challenged this festive season

The Gauteng Provincial Association for Persons with Disabilities (GPAPD) is collecting food, toiletries, toys and clothing for children with disabilities in Gauteng this festive season.

The GPAPD is a registered, provincially based NGO, which works closely with various government and community structures in Gauteng, to assist persons with primarily physical disabilities.

GPAPD has a dedicated group of committed, professional personnel who strive to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities and their families in the province.

The GPAPD assists anyone with a disability, with disability grants, child grants and assistive devices, as well as food packets.

According to Shane Browne, from the GPAPD, the cutoff date for collection is December 11.

Browne is appealing to the community of Boksburg to open their hearts and give to those in need this festive season.

If you would like to make a donation, contact Browne on 082 656 6616, or visit www.gpapd.org.
