Free rabies vaccinations on October 8
The Boksburg SPCA invites all pet owners to bring their dogs and cats to the kennels for free rabies vaccinations, on October 8, only.

Because rabies is nearly untreatable once symptoms appear, death can occur within 10 days.
Boksburg SPCA manager Wilma Steynbergh believes that vaccines are one of the most important steps pet owners can take to keep their pets happy and healthy.
“Our vaccination programme can protect pets from getting rabies,” she says.
Vaccinations will be given from 8am until 3pm on the day, at the premises in Railway Street, and owners are requested to have their pets on a leash.
For more information, contact Steynbergh on 011 916 5906/7.
