Workshop to commemorate Literacy Week

Writers and book-lovers are invited to a workshop for writers, at the Boksburg Civic Centre, on September 27.

This is an initiative by the Ekurhuleni Metro to commemorate Literacy Week.

According to metro spokesperson Sam Modiba, promising authors who attend the literacy evening will be afforded the opportunity to meet, mix and mingle with established writers and book publishers.

“The renowned wordsmith Ntsiki Mazwai will be the hostess for the evening and promises to seduce guests and booklovers with her poetic propensity,” says Modiba.

Those who are interested in attending the evening may contact Bafana Mohulo on 011 999 3408 or Bafana.Mohulo@ekurhuleni.gov.za, or Ria Botha on 011 999 3212 or Ria.Botha@ekurhuleni.gov.za.
