The men, in their mid-twenties, were arrested by EMPD Intervention Unit members.
According to Supt Wilfred Kgasago, spokesperson for the EMPD, the truck was tracked down to Shelley Street in Dawn Park, where the suspects were cornered by the EMPD members.
“Charges of theft of a motor vehicle were laid against the pair at Dawn Park Police Station.”
The duo appeared in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on September 12, and the case was postponed for further investigation.
