Audi Drivers to help fire victims
Audi Friends of South Africa, a team of Audi drivers sponsored by Audi Centre Airport in Kempton Park, will convoy to Angelo informal settlement, Boksburg, on Saturday, September 21.
The team will hand out blankets, food and clothing to the community that was recently hit by a tragedy where a fire spread and wiped out 40 shacks.
The incident left about 50 people displaced, including children as young as one-year-old.
Audi Friends of South Africa is focused on assisting where there is a need, supporting the destitute, as well as charities, and organisations that are making a difference.
“We will appreciate donations in the form of food parcels, blankets, clothes for both young and old, and anything that is non-perishable,” says Steven Ramasilo, Audi sales executive as well as co-founder of Audi Friends of SA.
Ramasilo urges community members in the East Rand who will not be available on Saturday to drop donated items off at Audi Centre Airport.
Audi drivers will meet at Audi Centre Airport, 33 Catalina Avenue, Rhodesfield on Saturday at 8:30am to convoy to Angelo informal settlement.
