New Ramaphosa taxi rank set to cost R16-m

Spending on the new Ramaphosa taxi rank construction is projected to hit R16-m.

This is according to spokesperson for the Ekurhuleni metro, Sam Modiba, who says that the expected completion date of the project is June/July 2014.

The taxi rank, which is expected to costs more to build than many other taxi ranks in Boksburg, will accommodate about 35 taxis.

This costly transport project has also created jobs for a dozens of the unemployed locals.
