Crime boards to benefit residents

The Boksburg North precinct has put up Crime Reporting Boards, which residents can utilise as a method to either report crimes in the area or even complain about the SAPS.

Lieut Juanita Coetzer, communications officer for the Boksburg North SAPS, says residents can anonymously leave any information regarding crime they know of, because the boards get checked regularly for any messages and tips.

The two boards are both in North Rand Road, Jansen Park – the one is placed inside the Pick and Pay Towers, and the second one is in the other big Pick and Pay Centre, inside the East Rand Mall.

“Residents should feel free to give their information to us, by placing them on these boards and know that all information received will be treated as serious and important,” says Coetzer.
