Rumay Selinda (25) seen here recently decided to do something positive for his community, and he gave a portion of his day doing something charitable at Ithemba Victim support Centre.

Selinda spent time at the centre painting this portrait of anti-apartheid icon and former South African president Nelson Mandela, as part of his community service.

The self taught artist says painting this picture on the wall of the centre was also his way of celebrating Madiba’s 95th birthday.
