DA and Angelo Industrial Park give power to the people

Living by the light of day is a thing of the past for 38 residents of Angelo informal settlement.

This is after Angelo Industrial Park, along with the DA visited the area to donate 38 solar lights to residents of the settlement, on Wednesday, July 24.

Hillary Coke thanks Angelo Industrial Park owners Erick Dorner and Sid Sidersky for improving the lives of residents.

After receiving their solar lights, residents also thanked Erick Dorner and the DA for what they have done for them. Erick stresses that this will also help address the problem of shack fires as residents, school children in particular, are no longer expected to use candles to do their homework during the night.
