Police search for missing Elspark pensioner

The pensioner, last seen in Elspark, is 90 per cent deaf and suffers from dementia

The Elsburg SAPS is appealing to the public to help them find Jerry Willem van der Merwe (67), who was last seen on March 18 in Raven Street, Elspark.

Van der Merwe has a slender build, blue/green eyes and grey hair.

He weighs 60kg and is 1.5m tall, with a sharp nose, large ears, thin lips and a scar on his lower back.

The pensioner was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt with black sleeves and khaki shoes at the time of his disappearance.

He suffers from dementia and is 90 per cent deaf.
