Arms of Mercy children need your support now
The NPO is appealing for financial assistance to help their vulnerable children
Angelique Nel, mother of cancer survivor Chereez Nel, from Boksburg, is urging the community to support the children of Arms of Mercy during the coronavirus pandemic.
Arms of Mercy is a Christian-rooted non-profit charity founded in 2017 by a small team of caring individuals, united by the call to service the children.
The NPO’s mission is to provide financial aid to as many children as possible through various non-profit fund-raising initiatives.
“Their special needs children might be at risk, especially those undergoing cancer treatments and with very low immune systems. They are depending on donors to assist their children with funding for ongoing medical treatment and maintenance,” Nel explained.
While Arms of Mercy under normal circumstances raise awareness by hosting events and making bracelets, the restrictions put in place by government to reduce interpersonal interactions of hosting events are making this impossible and extremely difficult.
“The NPO is therefore appealing for support in the form of financial assistance to help their vulnerable children depending on additional financial help,” she added.
