A 29-year-old man from Dawn Park was arrested by the police on March 10 after a stolen vehicle was found in his yard.
According to the Dawn Park police spokesperson, Const Nkemeleng Mabula, a complainant from a tracking company notified the police about the alleged vehicle that was stolen in Boksburg North the previous day.
“When the police arrived at the house they found a white Toyota Fortuner parked inside the yard. When the police inquired about the vehicle from the owner of the house he couldn’t provide satisfactory answers,” Mabula said.
The man was then arrested and charged with possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle.
