Netcare 911 responded to reports of an industrial incident in Delmore on Thursday morning.

Acoording to Shawn Herbst. media liaison officer of Netcare Limited, said reports from the scene indicate that a 25-year-old male factory worker had sustained serious injuries after being electrocuted.

“The patient was resuscitated on scene by the clinic nurse who handed the patient over to a Netcare 911 emergency care practitioner,” Herbst said.

“The patient was stabilized on scene by medics who managed to get a pulse back.”
