You can make a difference by donating wool to the Advertiser

Elize Kluyts, from Caxton Local Media, emphasised that all colours, quantities and textures are welcome.

Winter is coming and who bears the brunt of cold winters more than the deprived and less  fortunate?

Numerous people are at the mercy of harsh winters and the Advertiser is stepping up to do something about the issue.

We are appealing to members of the community to donate any wool or knitted items, such as blankets, beanies and scarves.

Your donation will help us to help various local groups who knit teddies and other items for distribution to the Cancer
Association of SA and to organisations which look after the underprivileged.

Drop your donations of wool off at the Caxton Local Media offices at 20 Sydney Road, Ravenswood, or @The Bistro
Restaurant (Boksburg Retail Park), Medleigh Pharmacy (The Square Centre), East End Dry Cleaners & Laundry (141 North
Rand Road), Eyeland Optometrist (shop 17E East Rand Mall), Hecker Nursery (1 Kirschner Road) and Atlas SPAR (Atlas Mall).

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
