Sunward Christian Academy in Parkrand Village recently celebrated the Association of Christian Schools International’s (ACSI) Global Day of Prayer.
The academy forms part of ACSI.
Principal Leon van der Westhuizen explained that the learners and staff prayed for South Africa as well as our close community.
“There has never been a time when South Africa and Boksburg needed prayer more than now,” said van der Westhuizen.
“We as a school also prayed for all the other schools in our city.
“This is also but a small part of our 20 years birthday celebrations as Sunward Christian Academy,” the principal added.
