Hundreds of children in the community go to school in brand-new school shoes
The church went door-to-door to establish what the biggest need in the community was and discovered that school shoes were a necessity that parents couldn't always afford to buy. Therefore, members of the church and other sponsors contributed towards shoes.
Agape Grace Ministries, based in Ramaphosa, recently gifted 100 pairs of school shoes to the community’s children.
According to Portia Kabatlo, project manager, the objective of the initiative was to give back to the community.
“We realised that parents can’t always afford to buy their children school shoes and we wanted to help them. It will boost their egos and just the smell of new school shoes will motivate these children to wake up every morning to go to school and learn,” Kabatlo said.

The project manager expressed her gratitude to those who contributed towards the success of the programme.
“I would also like to thank Apostle Moses Lepele. He understood my passion for children and handed the project over to me.”
