More than R45 000 so far for Christmas Cheer Fund
The aim of the Christmas Cheer Fund is to raise money to cater for all the furry friends that need to be fed and supported over the Christmas season.
The local SPCA is still appealing to individuals and companies to donate towards the Christmas Cheer Fund.
The Christmas Cheer Fund balance is currently standing on R45 726. The society is hoping to reach a target of R60 000 by the end of December.
The Boksburg SPCA finds its kennels overwhelmed during the Christmas and New Year period, prompting the Advertiser to help with the fund-raising drive.
