Pregnant woman faces trespassing charge, opens a case of assault against store guard
The commotion apparently started when the woman went to a Pep store and found it was closed while there were still customers inside.

A video has been circulating on social media that shows two policemen trying to arrest a pregnant woman at her Boksburg home on September 21.
In the video, which has in the meantime been deleted on social media, the police are seen removing the woman from the couch and in that commotion the women is seen throwing herself down, crying while the police are holding her.
The woman calls out to the person whose holding the camera by saying “love, please help me”. The man responds by saying
“I’m sorry my love, they have firearms”.
Another woman is seen trying to intervene and the police are seen explaining why they are arresting the pregnant woman.
According to Const Justice Ramaube, Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson, the woman went to a Pep store and found it was closed while there were still customers inside.
“It is alleged the woman forced herself into the shop and the security guard at Pep allegedly pulled her out. Apparently a commotion ensued outside the shop between the guard and the woman.
“Furthermore, the police were called and when the officers arrived, the woman told police she had been assaulted by the security guard,” Ramaube said.
Ramaube said the security guard opened a case of trespassing and the woman opened a common assault case.
“The woman wanted to know why the police didn’t arrest the security guard and she was told that in such a case the person isn’t arrested immediately, as the the suspect is summoned by the court.
“The police took down her address and told her they will bring her the J88 form to fill out.”
According to Ramaube, the J88 was given to the woman and because the woman was a suspect for allegedly trespassing, they had to arrest her.
“When the police arrived at her home to perform their duty, she allegedly acted up. Her husband allegedly pleaded with the police not arrest her because she was pregnant.
“The police explained the SAPS’s procedures to the husband.”
He confirmed case of trespassing and common assault was opened at the station.
It is still unclear if the woman was then taken to the police station.
