Police officers from the Dawn Park SAPS are working around the clock to arrest six suspects who allegedly stole computers and laptops at Dawn Park Primary School on August 27.
Dawn Park SAPS spokesperson Const Nkemeleng Mabula said two armed suspects, and other four suspects, allegedly entered the school and tied two security officers in the guardroom with shoelaces.
“The two security officers were allegedly assaulted. The suspects then allegedly broke into the class rooms and stole computers, laptops and other electrical appliances. They also stole the security guards’ cellphones,” Mabula said.
