Beyers Park resident frustrated with metro over water leak

The Advertiser is awaiting comment from the metro.

Beyers Park resident Sakkie Human feels that his complaints about water wastage on the corner of Goodman and Edgar roads have fallen on deaf ears.

The concerned resident said he reported the water leak to the 24-hour services call centre in March, but nothing has been done.

“I recently reported it again and they told me it’s fixed, but when I went to check, the water was still flowing. I am not sure where exactly the water is coming from, but I first noticed this flooding in March,” Human said.

Themba Gadebe, metro spokesperson, said: “ The metro investigated the complaint on March 19 but could not locate the leak at 33 Louis Botha Road. We will dispatch a team to investigate further.”
