Jaws of Life used to free woman trapped in car

Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N12/Kraft Road on Wednesday morning.

According to Shawn Herbst, media liaison officer Netcare Limited, reports from the scene indicate that two trucks and a car were involved in a collision.

“Medics assessed the scene and found that a 30-year-old female driver of the car had sustained minor injuries,” said Herbst.

Once stabilised the patient was transported by private ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
