Posters against women abuse were held up high and flyers with more information regarding women abuse were given to members of the public.

Boksburg North Sector Four CPF celebrated Women’s Day with some of their First Responders to show their support for the fight against women abuse on August 9.

They, along with the SAPS, Palms Superspar, Mamba, Makopano, Global Elite and PHP, came together at the corner of Rondebult and North Rand roads.

Members of the community could also make donations at the event.

Clinton Festraets, deputy chairperson of this CPF, described the event as a success.

“We would like to thank all the members of the public that came out to show support, as well as a huge thank you for all the donations that were received on the day,” said Clinton.

“The Boksburg North Sector Four CPF would also like thank the First Responders for their ongoing fight against crime. Together we can win this fight.”
