An official high accident road sign has been recently erected on Trichardts Road in the vicinity of the Bokkie Park.

A fatal crash just after 3.40pm on February 28 claimed the life of a young woman on the corner of Van Wyk Louw and Trichardts roads, the Advertiser previously reported.

This tragedy shook the community and spurred residents into action.

In light of this incident, an anonymous resident took drastic measures in order to make people aware of a high accident zone in Parkrand.

The metro at the time responded that they will immediately begin with a traffic study in Parkrand.
