PAWS 4 U receives 300 boxes of Easter eggs

PAWS 4 U aim to bring dogs and people together in a warm and non-threatening manner, allowing the dogs to interact positively through the use of their controlled and friendly approach.

People And Wonderful Souls (PAWS) 4 U recently received 300 boxes of Easter eggs from Dr Clifford Bull, a vet from Craig View Veterinary Clinic.

The doctor smashed his record from 2018 during the clinic’s Easter drive, by collecting over 1 300 boxes of Easter eggs from the community. The eggs are given to the less fortunate.

Giving back is something Bull feels strongly about and he hopes that this annual event will grow every year.

“Craig View and I would like to thank all those who donated, contributed and assisted with the distribution. Making a big difference in a small way is something we can all do,” said Bull.

PAWS 4 U had already started with the distribution at some of the 29 facilities wthat they visit on a monthly basis with their therapy dogs.

They also do a lot of work in Boksburg.

“The facilities we visited so far were so grateful for the Easter eggs. I’m so glad that Bill is giving us the opportunity to bring joy to these people. He is an incredible person with a big heart,” said Eileen Calvert from PAWS 4 U.

Unfortunately, the dogs were not allowed to eat any of the Easter eggs as chocolate is bad for their health.
