Stolen vehicle in Boksburg recovered within 20 minutes

The suspects had abandoned the vehicle.

A Hyundai H100 belonging to a company was on Tuesday, March 26 hijacked in Boksburg at 11.30am.

According to chief superintendent Wilfred Kgasago, EMPD spokesperson, the company alerted its vehicle company which in turn gave the information to the EMPD SWAT members.

“Constables Sagathevan and Ndebele responded swiftly and were able to locate the hijacked vehicle at 11.45am on Heidelburg Road  in Germiston,” said Kgasago.

He said the recovered Hyundai was taken to SAPS Van Ryn Deep pound in Benoni for further investigations and safekeeping.
