Robbers targeted a cellphone shop situated at a shopping complex in Reier Road, Atlasville, at about 10.30am on February 11.
They fled with a number of cellphones.
According to Boksburg North station commander Col Kumbulani Mbatha, the business owner was confronted by four men, two of them armed.
“They also took the owner’s personal cellphones.
“They then allegedly locked the owner and his assistant inside the shop and fled the scene,” Mbatha said.
