Boksburg High ranked sixth best performing school in district

History teachers Alet van der Venter and Caitlin McLellan were recognised as the best performing teachers in Ekurhuelni with 41 distinctions.

Boksburg High School announced they were recognised as a top school at the Ekurhuleni South District Awards in Germiston recently.

The school was ranked as the sixth Best Performing School in the district.

Boksburg High teachers who received Ekurhuleni South District Awards for best educators in their respective subjects are:

  • Christa Grove, Sandra Swanepoel, Milandi Botes, Ansie Rossouw – (Afrikaans first additional language)
  • Michelle Cox and Juané Naude (engineering graphics and design)
  • Michelle Cox (design)
  • Samkelo Nkonyeni and Rona de Klerk (tourism)
  • Rochelle Smith (computer applications technology)
  • Tracey Spencer and Gerda Joubert (life science)
  • Alet van der Venter and Caitlin McLellan (history)
  • Salome van Rensburg and Willie van Tonder (economics)

* Boksburg High learners who achieved the best results per subject in Ekurhuleni South District are:
