Objectives of child welfare is to protect children from all kinds of abuse, to make a difference in the lives of children, and to establish networks and partnerships to ensure the safeguarding of children. Being a credible, professional body for child protection. Providing support and guidance to our Member Organisations.

Boksburg Child Welfare will be holding its AGM at 2pm on November 24.

The AGM will take place at the premises of child welfare, Old Town Hall building on the corner of Commissioner and Trichardt streets.

“We encourage the community to attend as we need to grow our membership,” said Vanessa Naidoo-Pillay, director of Boksburg Child Welfare.

“This is a voluntary service whereby the community is empowered to be able to strengthen and ensure they receive the required services.

“An annual membership fee of R50 is payable for membership, as a fund-raising initiative.

“The involvement of the public would be appreciated as they will serve on the sub-committees.”
