Watch: Girls Guides celebrate Heritage Day in style

Girl Guides South Africa exists to develop actively the full potential of all girls, and women incorporating a clearly defined value system.

Gauteng East Girl Guides hosted a Heritage fashion show on September 22 at St Catherine’s School.

This exciting event, in celebration of Heritage Day, was filled with stunning outfits, including a variety of traditional clothing, good music, and a lot of giveaway prizes.

The guests clapped and sang along as the girls rocked the runway.

Hard Drive Production ensured for the stage, sound and lighting, while Super Group donated wonderful prizes. Airborne Aviation also made a donation.

Through its commitment to life, leadership and outdoor skills, a progressively dynamic programme is offered by Girl Guides South Africa in which members are given every opportunity to fulfil their particular responsibilities.

Potential is developed through voluntary small group participation in all communities without restriction of colour or creed.
