The Dawn Park SAPS arrested two men in connection with a hijacking.
According to Constable Nkemeleng Mabula from the Dawn Park police station, a man (58) from Windmill Park was hijacked in his driveway at about 7.50pm on August 19.
Mabula said the victim was parked in his driveway to open his garage when two men approached him, one of them holding a firearm.
“The two suspects, aged between ages 30 and 33, got inside the silver grey Toyota Hilux bakkie and sped away.”
“Police were able to trace the car, which was later recovered in Germiston. This then also led to the arrests.”
