A CPF member was driving in Rondebult Road, Jansen Park on June 11 at about 8.50pm when he noticed a man digging by a pole.
According to Capt Juanita Coetzer, Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson, he stopped and asked what the suspect was doing.
The suspect answered that he was going to take the pole home.
The CPF member contacted the Boksburg North SAPS, and upon arrival, they found the suspect. They searched the suspect and found house break-in equipment in his possession.
The suspect could not explain the possession thereof. The suspect was arrested and detained.
