The Dawn Park SAPS crime prevention team have arrested two suspects found with live ammunition, an unlicensed firearm and dagga.
According to Const Nkemeleng Mabula from the Dawn Park SAPS, the first suspect was arrested after he was spotted driving recklessly along the R554.
“The police stopped and searched the vehicle and the suspect was in possession of live ammunition and dagga.
“He was detained at the Dawn Park SAPS.”
- Meanwhile, another suspect was arrested in Mugubane Street in Villa Lisa after the police received a tip-off about an unlicensed firearm.
“Police proceeded to the given address where they found the suspect in possession of illegal ammunition and an unlicensed firearm,” Mabula said.
