Watch: “Suspects”jailed for fun in aid of Cansa
A mock cell was set up to add to the "seriousness"of the matter.
The Boksburg North SAPS arrested “suspects” from around Boksburg and locked them up in a mock cell on the corner of North Rand and Rondebult roads on March 2, from 9am.
The Boksburg North SAPS and Chris Batts, world record holder from Sports Against Crime, hosted the fun and entertaining “Jail a Vic” event, in aid of the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa).
Those arrested were nominated by their companies and were released on “bail”, which will be donated to Cansa.
