‘Tommy Gun’ in jail for possession of drugs

A prosecutor at Boksburg Magistrate's Court identified him as Thomas Oosthuizen to the arresting officer in the holding cells.

Thomas ‘Tommy Gun’ Oosthuizen (29) is in jail – again.

Oosthuizen, who is a professional boxer and hails from Van Dyk Park, was arrested for the possession of drugs in Boksburg North on February 3.

He provided the arresting officer with false personal particulars, stating his name was William Grove, aged 27, who lived in Parklands Estate in Trichardt Road.

His explanation for this was that he was “under the influence” at the time.

Oosthuizen was denied bail and the case was postponed to February 16.
