A Beyers Park resident was declared dead in hospital after he allegedly fell, shortly after a fight with a 59-year-old man.
The incident took place just after midnight on January 27.
According to Capt Juanita Coetzer, the suspect was allegedly involved in a fight with the deceased at a house in Bartlett Street, Beyers Park.
“The deceased allegedly fell after the assault and was rushed to the hospital, where he passed away,” said Coetzer.
The suspect was arrested.
A case of murder has been opened at the Boksburg North SAPS. The case is still under investigation.
